Lovell Hockey’s Summer Mini Camp is designed to give players high-level instruction in a focused, fast-paced environment. This camp emphasizes the core skills every player needs to succeed — skating, stickhandling, shooting, and competing — while keeping players engaged through small-area games and competitive mini games.

Skating is the foundation of everything we teach. Players will receive detailed instruction and high-rep drills that improve edge work, balance, speed, and overall efficiency. Each session builds confidence with the puck and reinforces habits that translate directly to game performance.

Throughout the camp, players will work on the core fundamentals of the game, including:

Skating mechanics, edge control, and mobility
Stickhandling and puck control in tight spaces
Shooting technique, accuracy, and release
Small-area and mini games that promote creativity, decision-making, and compete level

Each day is structured to keep players moving, learning, and competing with purpose in a high-energy environment. Players receive constant feedback and instruction to ensure proper habits are developed and reinforced.

DAILY STRUCTURE

Each day includes 4.5 hours of total instruction:

3 hours of on-ice training
Off-ice training session
Lunch break

Mites / Squirts: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Peewee / Bantam: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
