The most impactful and exciting players in hockey are the ones who can truly control the puck. At Lovell Hockey, our attention to detail in stickhandling is second to none — and it’s why this clinic continues to be one of our most popular.

This clinic is designed to help players become confident, consistent, and creative puck handlers. Every drill is taught with a strong emphasis on keeping your head up, allowing players to control the puck while reading the ice and making plays at game speed.

We break down every detail of elite puckhandling — from proper hand placement and wrist roll to quick dribbles and deception moves. Campers receive constant instruction, correction, and repetition to build habits that translate directly into games.

Skills covered include:

• One-on-one puck protection
• Toe drags and backhand toe drags
• Forehand and backhand chips
• Slips and deceptive puck movement
• Attacking the triangle and creating space

All skills are demonstrated, drilled, and reinforced throughout the week to ensure real improvement and confidence with the puck.

Mite/Squirt 10:15 – 4:05 pm

On-ice at 10:15-12:05 pm, Off-ice/lunch at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, On-ice again at 2:15 – 4:05 pm.

Peewee/Bantam 12:15 – 6:05 pm

On-ice at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, Off-ice/lunch at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, On-ice again at 2:15 – 4:05 pm.
