2026 Pre-Mite Development

Lovell Hockey will host its 2026 Pre-Mite (Devos) Development Camp from June 22–25 at Lovell Arena. This camp is designed specifically for young players born in 2019, 2020, and 2021 who are beginning their hockey journey and building foundational skills.

At the Pre-Mite level, skating is everything — and that is where this camp places its primary focus. Players will spend the majority of each session developing strong skating fundamentals, including balance, inside and outside edges, crossovers, and turning. Establishing proper skating mechanics at this age is critical for long-term development, and this camp is built to do exactly that.

As the week progresses, players will also be introduced to basic puck handling and shooting, while maintaining a strong emphasis on skating. Each session will finish with small-area games, allowing players to apply what they’ve learned in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate environment.

Daily Session Times

• Session 1: 9:00 – 11:00 AM
• Session 2: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Session 3: 4:00 – 6:00 PM
