Who doesn’t love shooting pucks? This is the camp that keeps players smiling as they leave the rink every day.

Our Shooting Clinic is a high-energy, four-hour training experience focused on improving release, accuracy, power, and shot velocity. Every session is designed to help players become more confident, dangerous scorers in game situations.

The Lovell Hockey staff breaks down shooting mechanics from the ground up — making sure every camper holds the stick correctly, skates with their head up, and learns how to shoot in stride at full speed. From puck placement on the blade to proper follow-through, each skill is clearly demonstrated so players can see, feel, and repeat the correct technique.

Shots covered include:

• Wrist shots
• Snap shots
• Backhands
• Slap shots
• One-timers

As the week progresses, both the pace and difficulty increase, allowing players to apply their new techniques under pressure. Campers will have the opportunity to showcase their improved shooting skills in competitive gameplay.

Mite/Squirt 10:15 – 4:05 pm

On-ice at 10:15-12:05 pm, Off-ice/lunch at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, On-ice again at 2:15 – 4:05 pm.

Peewee/Bantam 12:15 – 6:05 pm

On-ice at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, Off-ice/lunch at 12:15 – 2:05 pm, On-ice again at 2:15 – 4:05 pm.
