East Boston – Summer Development Program 

6 WEEK – DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PORRAZZO ICE ARENA – EAST BOSTON

PLEASE NOTE YOU ARE REGISTERING FOR THE PROGRAM LOCATED AT PORRAZZO ICE ARENA, EAST BOSTON, MA

The clinic will run Monday and Wednesday and/or Tuesday and Thursday (age-dependent) and is designed to be a condensed version of our 6-week development program. Breaking up on-ice training into three, 2-hour sessions over 6 weeks creates a slow, consistent, long-lasting progression for each player. At Lovell Hockey, we constantly develop players for every aspect of the game. The 6-week session comprises intense power skating, edge work, resistance overspeed training, stick handling and shooting. Our instructors never lose focus over the importance of these skills and build upon them with small, comprehensive, situational drills that allow players to read and react to different game situations. Finally, our last focus is using small area and full ice gameplay to showcase how our players have improved as individuals and as team players.
